The Argyle Care Group’s Homes provide an environment that all of our residents can regard as their home. We offer care of the highest standard and employ well trained and dedicated staff that provide 24 hour care in a professional and respectful way.
We focus on providing the best possible quality of life for everyone in all of our Homes and aim for excellence as standard. Residents are encouraged to lead as independent a life as possible, joining in with activities and outings, whilst we are there behind the scenes to provide all the support they need.
Wherever possible, the resident and their family are involved in the planning of care. Individual bedrooms are tastefully furnished and decorated and residents can bring personal belongings and small items of furniture for their own comfort. Visitors are welcome at any time.
We have qualified chefs who provide excellent home cooked meals, catering for any diet or cultural requirements. All of our Homes have pleasant landscaped gardens where residents can sit in a safe and secure environment in the warmer months.
We have our own Training Officer in the Group who provides ongoing in house training, together with organizing outside training courses for all our Staff. This is to ensure that staff are fully conversant and up to date with Care Standard requirements, so that our residents receive the best possible care and attention. All Our Staff are required to take NVQ examinations for which we support and encourage them.
Making the decision to move into long term care is never easy, either for the person concerned or family members. Our Home Managers are trained to provide the practical and emotional support people may need and, through experience, are confident that residents will settle in quickly and happily.
